Trolling and comment wars

Trolling is a disgrace to a growing and a rather liberal world.
There is a fine line between constructive criticism and trolling.
And is the line so blurred that educated, privileged individuals cross it so often?
Is it so hard to understand? Aren't we enlighten enough to realize where we cross the line?
Is trolling about what's trolled or just a projection of someone's melancholy or
insecurity?
Is it just about anonymous people using obscurity to speak ill or also about individuals speaking up on behalf of the majority? Is trolling limited to what's said or posted online? Isn't it also what rigid minds do on an everyday basis?

Firstly, what we commonly speak about. Trolling because of feeling unfortunate, insecure, and sad. Reactions of a bitter individual who feel unsatisfied looking upon rather content people. A behavior triggered by internet-gifted-anonymity where one is confident to utter lengths of nonsense without any fear of the consequence because their username is not connected to their real-world identity.

The first type is what we've acknowledged over time.
On the other hand, what we fail to address, which is scarier is, trolling under the banner of 'voicing opinion'. Speaking like hooligans and hurling insult just to come across as superior because one is so rigid and incapable of seeing the other side. Rigidity is the virtue of the fragile lot, people whose understanding is limited. Lookup any comment war, be it political or discussion on hyped issues, you will find equally unpleasing, an inept remark from both sides for their opponent. Individuals take themselves as "social media influencers" and speak on things they have no understanding of, just to trend. A remark shouldn't be just supported because it is appealing to a larger crowd. Our outlooks need to be stretched. Herd mentality needs to end the day we step up into an institute. When someone differs from your outlook you don't have to become hysterical and agitated. What good is our education when we still think and utter for favors and popularity? While we voice, there's no need to be aggressive. Loud is not strong and calm is not meek. We gotta be less rigid and more calm and mindful.

  3. You explained it really well ! It's something all should read and understand . In today's virtual world , most educated illiterates move along with the crowd without even taking a sec to think of whats actually correct.

  4. A nice article indeed!! You have raised the points very well. This is happening because people lack empathy and they try to downgrade others to prove their superiority and their opinions.
